Hope you enjoyed the show. Some more information for those that want more…

The Local Band of the Month accolade went to the awesome Accidents. We spoke to frontman, Adam, who boasted that Preston will not see a more energetic performance this year! They are rocking the Where’s Mavis? club night at The Ship Inn by the UCLAN buildings next Tuesday, August 28th. The bands start at 8pm and it’s only £1 entry to see two top North-West bands. Check out the poster below for more info.

Where's Mavis? - 28th August 2012

Radio Alcatraz were Your New Favourite Band. They have just released their first album, and you can find links to purchase said album at the band’s BANDCAMP page. No gigs in the Preston region currently announced, but check out their video for “Running Through The Stitch” below.

Dinosaurs Are Shit Dragons have been described as Spazzcore (?!?!E”?) and from neighbouring Blackpool. You can download “John Craven Peers Through My Bedroom Window At Night” and it’s B-Side from their BANDCAMP page if you enjoy something humorous and completely irreverent!

I recently worked on a music video for Manchester upstarts, Wailer Pilot Study. Their single “Fall Forward” will hopefully be gaining valuable airtime across the country, and you can check out the brand new Music Video below. Download their songs for free/gratis/nothing at BANDCAMP page.

In other news, Biffy Clyro unveiled new single, “Stingin’ Belle” earlier this month, from their forthcoming 6th studio album, “Opposites” which will be released later this year.

Freeze the Atlantic feature ex-members of Reuben, Hundred Reasons and Spectrum 7. Their debut album, “Speakeasy” is released September 17th, and the track played tonight – “This Fight” – will NOT be on that album! If you want a copy of the song, the only official way to get is by buying a copy of RockSound magazine (15th August 2012). Because they’re nice though, they made a video that I’ve put below.

Another band with a new(ish) video featured is Gallows, whose single, “Last June” is also available to download free from HERE. Their eponymous third album (and first with ex-Alexisonfire member Wade MacNeil on the mic) is out September 10th.

September is going to be a busy month for Devil Sold His Soul too, as their 3rd album, “Empire Of Light” also hits shelves on September 17th. Their new single, “A New Legacy”, is already add though and you can that from iTunes now. Check out the video below.

Finally, Visions will be releasing a new EP soon, but until then you can download “You Won’t Even Know” from HERE.

The show is back in 4 weeks on September 18th – same time – same place.

That’s all for now. Until next time…
